General questions

Foot reflexology, facial reflexology, and aromareflex in Upper Lambourn, Berkshire.

I am undergoing medical treatment, can I still have a treatment with you?

All the treatments I offer are suitable alongside conventional medicine. Prior to a treatment I will require you to complete a consultation form detailing your medical history, current health and lifestyle. The treatment will be adapted according to your specific needs.

In some instances, I may require you to consult with your medical practitioner prior to treatment. If you have any concerns/questions, please discuss with me prior to making an appointment.

The number of treatments varies from person to person and the reason you are having a treatment. I will discuss a treatment programme according to your specific needs.

What should I wear for a treatment?

Something comfortable. For all my treatments you remain fully clothed, just removing footwear for reflexology so that the feet and lower legs are accessible. You may want to remove any make-up prior to a Facial Reflexology treatment.

Do you use creams or oils?

I generally use some wax or creams for reflexology and Tropic Skincare for Facial Reflexology. All the products I use are natural and organic. I will check prior to any treatment for any allergies you may have.

How many treatments will I need?

A feeling of deep relaxation can be obtained with just one session. However, most clients find a course of five or six treatments has amazing results. Many clients then choose to have a top up treatment every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain their health.

Treatment plans will vary from client to client.

Are there any side effects of a reflexology treatment?

As reflexology is not intrusive, there are very few side effects to the treatment. Most people feel very relaxed or sleepy and enjoy a good night’s sleep, though some are highly alert and refreshed and full of energy. A common side effect is an increased number of visits to the toilet as reflexology encourages the elimination of toxins from the body.

How do I pay for my treatment?

Payment should be made by cash or card.

I need to cancel / rearrange my appointment, what should I do?

Please contact me by phone or text if you need to change your appointment. Please give at least 24 hours notice of change or cancellation or there will be a charge if I am unable to fill that appointment.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

I have set aside my time exclusively for you. If you need to cancel your appointment, please kindly give at least 24 hours notice in advance of your appointment time. Late cancellation with less than 24 hours may be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Yes, vouchers can either be purchased for a specific treatment or for a value to be used towards a treatment. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and are non-transferable.

Please contact me if you would like to purchase one.

What qualifications do you have?

In addition to Level 3 Reflexology Diploma, I am also required by my professional bodies to continue with my professional development by attending regular training courses, lectures etc. You can read more about me here.
